Kingaroy Kickboxing Show

Summary from Coach Liam on Saturday nights’ fight show in Kingaroy.

“Dontae up first having his first fight at 10yrs old and showed some real heart from the opening bell taking the win! Elites youngest fighter to date!

Alfie having a very tough exhibition fight digging deep and taking the win!
We then saw Nick Reidy fight for the ISKA national title and taking it home in style, some massive things will be install for the kid 2K18

Erin Carter then stepped up and fought the IFMA world champ, with 3 times the experience. This girl fears no man or woman alive and is in constant search for self-improvement win lose or draw she grew immensely in this camp and it all showed Saturday night with a close points loss. What you take away from this fight is invaluable, unreal.

Kevin Lyon impressed me so much throughout this camp and put on a class performance taking the title UPD, he was quite nervous going in against heart out Muay Thai as they’re fighters are always well schooled, but Kev rose to the occasion showing class in each round.

Aoife Katie fought the very dangerous Rob Morgillo, tackled adversity that he has received this year head on. He stuck to the game plan all fight completely putting on a clinic of strategy skill and power demonstrating immense growth in between fights. He got caught with a beautifully timed spinning back fist and lost by KO. It’s a part of the game, and that’s what makes it so crazy. This man coaches, works 6 days a week, runs his own business as well as assists in running the gym, raises his family and still finds the time to train and fight professionally. No doubt he is one of the best in the country, when he doesn’t win he learns, he will be back.

To Elite team, you represent this crest in all you do, bleed for this crest and you will always be family. Win together lose together.”
